In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and its ongoing impact on small and minority-owned businesses, SCCS Group joined forces with a distinguished team of architects and engineers to revitalize outdoor dining along Strivers' Row, a historic and culturally significant area in Harlem.

This initiative, launched as part of Uber's pilot program, aimed to provide much-needed support to local restaurants by reconnecting them with the community through thoughtfully designed outdoor dining spaces. The design and construction team was composed predominantly of S/W/M/V (Small, Women, Minority, Veteran-Owned) Business Enterprises, reflecting a shared commitment to equity and inclusion.

Through this collaborative effort, the Strivers' Row dining experience was reimagined, fostering a sense of community while bolstering the economic resilience of local businesses. SCCS Group is proud to have played a role in strengthening the cultural and culinary connections that define this historic Harlem neighborhood.
