Enhancing Accessibility: ADA Adaptation
Asbury Park, NJ
Trinity Episcopal Church, a national historic landmark built between 1908-1919, is undergoing a vital ADA accessibility adaptation to ensure inclusive access across its multi-level campus. The church’s sanctuary, office wing, and gymnasium span five distinct levels, presenting access challenges that must meet ADA and New Jersey barrier-free access requirements.
Dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment, Trinity Church provides spiritual, humanitarian, and cultural programs to the community. The project aims to align the church’s historic legacy with its mission by creating seamless accessibility for all patrons and parishioners, ensuring every individual can fully engage with the church’s offerings.
